Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year.  We are so excited to see your child on the very first day!  Exciting things will take place at The Historic Samuel Coleridge Taylor ES #122 as this is our 92nd year of educating and empowering our community.  We continue our theme of "FOCUS".

In order to FOCUS on your scholar, we need them in school each and everyday.  Research shows that students with higher academic achievement also have excellent attendance.  We will FOCUS on Instruction, Intervention, Enrichment, and Building Relationships.

As we continue to build relationships we will continue to leverage our partnerships with the Sammy Center that works with our community, students, and parents.  We will also host our annual Back to School, Math, Literacy, and Science Nights. 

So let's stay "FOCUSED" as we embark on the 92nd year at The Historic Samuel Coleridge Taylor ES #122.
